Sissu is the first village on the Lahaul side of Atal Tunnel, at 3,120 m. Frozen waterfall, artificial lake, snow year-round on the surrounding peaks. Easy day-trip from Manali (30 min via tunnel), but staying overnight lets you catch the Milky Way and empty morning viewpoints.
