Gushaini is the road-head village for Great Himalayan National Park and the softer entry to Tirthan valley. The Tirthan river flows right beside the road, trout fishing is legal with a permit, and homestays are set in walnut orchards. Base for Serolsar Lake, Chehni Kothi and GHNP treks.
