History
Guru Nanak Dev Ji visited Manikaran with his disciple Bhai Mardana. Legend says the missing 'mani' (gem) was recovered when Guru Nanak lifted a boulder — releasing the sulphur hot springs that still cook the langar today.
Architecture
The temple showcases classic Himachali hill architecture — sloping slate roofs, intricately carved wooden doorways, and stone masonry that has weathered mountain seasons for generations.
