Kinnaur Kailash (6,050 m) is the sacred abode of Shiva in Kinnaur — best viewed from Kalpa or Reckong Peo. The Shivling formation at the summit changes colour through the day. Parikrama (circumambulation) is a strenuous 40-km trek.
