Overview
Hampta Pass is Himachal's classic crossover — you start in Kullu's green forests and end in Lahaul's Spiti-like desert in five days. The 14,100 ft pass day is hard but non-technical. Best done June–September; Chandratal add-on is compulsory if you want the full experience.
