About this experience

Spiti and Lahaul have some of India's darkest skies. On a moonless night you can see the Milky Way core with the naked eye. Certified astronomers set up 8-inch Dobsonians, teach constellations, and show Saturn's rings live.

    Telescope viewing — Saturn, Jupiter, Andromeda

    Astrophotography demo (if requested)

Is it safe at that altitude at night?

Yes with acclimatisation. Spend 2 days at Kaza before heading to Chandrataal.
